Have your next special event in one of our unique lounges or function rooms!
Menu Menu selection must be decided no later than two weeks prior to your event. The chef will go over the best selections suited to your budget and preference. If you have something in mind that is not listed on our menu, please ask, we may be able to accommodate you.
Function Rooms The Upstairs lounge area can be used only for cocktail parties of 100 or less or buffet dinners for 60 or less. We do not have the space for sit down dinners upstairs. The Vaults are used for sit down dinners, we have two vaults and each can accommodate up to 25 people. dinners of 50 or less. The Main Dining Room can be used for sit down dinners of 100 or less only Monday - Thursday evenings during the summer until 10:00 PM; or any evening during the off-season. The Entire Building may be rented out for no more than 300 people for any function. The charge is a minimum requirement to rent the building. All parties that require us to get a band will be required to pay for the band, and sound tech.
Prices All reservations must be held with a deposit or credit card. All food prices are set by our chef and are based on an average of the listed prices. They will be subject to Rhode Island State Sales Tax of 7% and a 20% Gratuity. Gratuity will also be added on to the bar tab for open bar. Cash bar does not have an additional gratuity added. Payment is due the evening of your event, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Guarantee of Number of Guests We require the exact number of guests within a week of your event. We are prepared for the possibility of a few extra guests, but it is your responsibility to keep us informed of any major changes in the number. You will be charged for any additional guests not agreed upon in advance.
Liability The Newport Blues Cafe cannot assume responsibility for the loss or damage to personal property and equipment brought onto the premises.
